Professor Sue Rackard

Sue Rackard is currently Associate Dean for Teaching and Learning in the School of Veterinary Medicine and Vice Principal for Teaching and Learning in the College of Health and Agricultural Sciences, University College Dublin, Ireland. Sue gained her veterinary degree at the Veterinary College of Ireland where she also completed her PhD in 2002. Her clinical interests are predominantly in veterinary orthopaedics and she worked as a Small Animal Surgeon in the UCD Vet School for more than 15 years.
Her current activities and interests also include curriculum and assessment review & development particularly in competency based medical/veterinary medical education as well as the teaching and assessing of professionalism.
