Thematic Series: The Future of Cattle Health

Call for Papers

Irish Veterinary Journal is accepting submissions to be considered for publication in the special issue on the Future of Cattle Health. Inspired by the recent World Buiatrics Congress held in Dublin, Ireland, in July, the collection includes commissioned reviews from conference speakers and world experts.

This thematic series explores many aspects of bovine health, including metabolic diseases, reproduction, herd-health management, and antibiotic use. These articles have been selected to demonstrate the broad scope of research that influence Buiatrics and cattle care.

We invite you to submit original research or reviews on topics relating to recent advances in the field of cattle health and welfare. The deadline for submissions is 1st June 2018. To submit your manuscript, please use our online submission system, and indicate in your cover letter that you would like the manuscript to be considered for this article collection. If you would like to inquire about the suitability of a manuscript for consideration, please send a pre-submission query to irishvetjournal@biomedcentral.com

For more information on how to submit your article to Irish Veterinary Journal, please see our submission guidelines.
