From: Nutritional muscular dystrophy in a four-day-old Connemara foal

A four-day-old full-term Connemara colt that presented to University College Dublin with a two-day history of progressive inability to rise unassisted. Note the moderate flexural contraction of all four limbs involving primarily the distal interphalangeal joint and the 'C'-shaped configuration of the hindlimbs and downward slope of the pelvis.
