Comparisons between ROC curves and areas under the curve (AUC) for variables radiographic left atrial dimension (RLAD) and vertebral heart size (VHS). The optimal cut-off point (reference value) for these variables are shown and quantified in 1.8 and 11.1 thoracic vertebrae. AUC for RLAD was 0.97 and AUC for VHS was 0.94
